We all love a parade and what a parade the Clinton Fall Festival has every year. We host the Moslem Temple Shriners from Detroit and they are sure to delight both young and old. Area bands and other top entertainment awaits you for this year's parade. Our parade is at least 1 hour long, and one of the best in the tri state area. parade.gif (25191 bytes)
The 2006 Grand Parade will feature antique aircraft flyovers throughout the first 20 minutes of the parade.  This North American T-6 is an accurate example of the “Texans” used in the Korean War, the first major conflict of the newly formed USAF.  Veterans remember these aircraft first used as Advanced Trainers during World War II.  They were then used in the Korean War as “spotter planes” to guide jet fighters and bombers to their targets.  Their pilots would fly dangerous missions over enemy territory coordinating with army ground commanders to effectively control the use of tactical airpower.  They were nicknamed “Mosquito” by the enemy due to their unique sound in the air and the inevitable “sting” that followed.

Scream’n Rebel was selected as the name of this aircraft by its pilot at
Chunchon Airfield, South Korea.  As a tribute to all veterans pilot Jim Greeson, with much help from many friends, totally rebuilt a similar AT-6 aircraft over a five-year period so that it accurately represents Scream‘n Rebel as it looked in July 1952.  It has been recognized as an outstanding example of its type and awarded the “Best T-6” honor during the EAA Oshkosh Airshow. For the past seven years he has been flying aerobatic airshows as a tribute to past heroes.  He earned his first pilot’s license during High School in West Virginia.  After graduating from the USAF Academy he served his country as a fighter pilot.  He has now served as a pilot in the airline industry for over 24 years.  It is his honor to demonstrate the capabilities of the T-6 for the public and bring back to life part of our history and heritage.
